Brothers Movie Release Date
A while back, Karan Johar had made headlines for his decision to remake the Hollywood film Warriors and casting Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra in the film. The film, which is a Hindi remake of Warrior, will have Sidharth Malhotra portray the role of a fighter and the actor has been prepping up for his role as well. Sidharth has already begun shooting for the movie whereas Akshay also started the film after wrapping up Neeraj Pandey’s Baby which is doing fantastic at box office as well as in the millions of hearts. Brothers is directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions along with Lionsgate Films. Final Release Date of Brothers
Confirming the release date, Karan Johar says, “The team of Brothers is truly forging ahead….the pace and energy of the shoot has been incredible…we have actually decided to prepone our release to July 31st…” Interestingly, the new release date of the remake had already been booked for Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Bling that will be directed by Prabhu Dheva. However Akshay, apart from being a common factor (that of lead actor) in both films, and also being Karan’s friend, readily accepted to switch release dates. Jacqueline Fernandez, who was been finishing her busy shooting for her upcoming film Roy, now started the shoot. The film is scheduled for release on July 31, 2015.
